One scene, four colourways, one question: which one sings?

Overview

A personal illustration exploring a browser-window scene, a figure reaching into their own interface, surrounded by confetti. Drawn once, then pushed through four different palettes to see how much the colour alone changes the mood.

The challenge

A composition that works in one palette often collapses in another: contrast relationships that carried the focal point stop working the moment the hues move.

The approach

The linework and value structure were locked first so every colourway sits on the same underlying drawing, making the comparison honest.
